JD is a feature film editor with wide ranging experience in the world of post production, including sound design, music editing, and post supervision.

Notable credits include "Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You" (opening night film 2016 Sundance Film Festival) and "Seeds of Time" (2015 Berlin Film Festival and 2014 SXSW Film Festival).

Other television credits include work on UK Ch 4's "Rebuilding the World Trade Center", PBS Makers Series episodes "Women in Comedy" and "Women in War", and "After the Storm: Lessons from the Northern Edge" for PBS Rhode Island.  He has also cut a range of short films, trailers, and promos. 

He is a B.F.A. graduate of Emerson College (Boston, MA), an avid marathon runner, and lives in New York City with his wife.
